The larger the site the more beneficial it is to have a sitemap to help your visitors quickly find what they are looking for. If you have a sitemap be sure you have a link to it on every page of your site.

Free Services (0-1 pts.)
Offering anything free will interest your audience and may lead to repeat visits. You can gain points if you provide an awards program, wallpaper, GIF images or a forum.

Join a Rating Organization (0-1 pts.)
Some parents set the Content Advisor in Microsoft Internet Explorer so that the only websites accessed, are those labeled "child-safe" by an Internet Rating System. Therefore, you will have a larger audience if your site is labeled with an organization such as ICRA or SafeSurf.

Advanced Technology (0-1 pts.)
Liven up your site with creative and innovative uses of advanced technology such as streaming video, Flash, JavaScript or CGI.

Custom 404 Page (0-1 pts.)
Custom design your own 404 page. Then if someone types in your page wrong or if the page no longer exists, you can provide options instead of the standard "The page cannot be found" message. Visit 404 Pros to learn how to make your own error page.
